Erica works with newly-formed allies to uncover a biological threat they suspect the Visitors have been plotting. Aboard the Mothership, Anna meets with a special guest while managing the investigation into the murder of a V. Chad does a segment on the V Healing Centers, demonstrating their amazing medical abilities, but then finds himself conflicted by some of his findings, on the cliffhanger of "V." At the conclusion of the episode, an armada of a thousand or so V Motherships is seen heading towards Earth from their home planet.

Chad reports from the Peace Ambassador Center as 100 diplomatic visas are being issued to the first wave of American Visitors, with Anna getting the 1st, but not everyone agrees with the decision - Erica has started tracking a death threat while paired with a V officer, as she actually has to protect the V's. Meanwhile, Ryan starts reaching out to his old friends to build up opposition forces and help fight-off the V's.

Dozens of UFO's suddenly appear on Earth, hovering over major cities around the world and claim that their objective is to help the Human race, providing vastly superior intelligence and technology in exchange for water and minerals only found on Earth. The leader of the V's (Visitors) Anna uses the popular TV anchor Chad Decker to deliver her messages to the Humans but suspicion arises from FBI investigator Erica who believes that the V's have different intentions to what they claim.

FBI counterterrorism agent Erica Evans disapproves that her teenage son Tyler is so enamoured by the aliens, being recruited for the V Peace Ambassador Program by the beautiful Visitor Lisa. Erica and her partner Dale Maddox investigate a group of terrorists whose activity spiked during the Visitors' initial appearance. They discover an abandoned hideout containing explosives, fake IDs and a deceased man who was tortured prior to his death. His cellphone contains details of a sleeper cell meeting, which Erica attends.

The arrival of over 29 giant spaceships appear in all major cities of the world. The technologically advanced alien species, said that they come in peace. But a small number of humans begin to doubt the sincerity of the seemingly benevolent Visitors. FBI counter-terrorism agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) discovers that the aliens have spent decades infiltrating human governments, businesses, and religious institutions and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the world. Erica joins the resistance movement, which includes Ryan (Morris Chestnut), a Visitor sleeper agent who wants to save humanity. However, the aliens have won favor among the people of Earth by curing a variety of diseases
