Depending on the season a team may work with a specific trainer or all trainers may work with all contestants. The trainers are responsible (in conjunction with medical personnel retained by the show) for designing comprehensive workout and nutrition plans and teaching them to the contestants. However, the contestants are individually responsible for implementing the principles taught. During an episode, various challenges and temptations (see below) are featured. Series Summary:

Contestants will then have to maintain their weight and shape by carefully managing their behavior outside of the controlled house atmosphere, with the winner being the one who is most physically fit across the boards.


Episode Summary:
In this eagerly-anticipated makeover episode, the five remaining players head off to a luxury spa to get pampered before shopping for stylish new clothes in Beverly Hills with fashion maven Jeannie Mai. Then in-demand Hollywood hairdresser Ken Paves crafts stylish new looks for the contestants before a limousine whisks them away to see Cirque Du Soleil's "Iris." But before the show begins, each player gets a heartwarming reunion with a loved one flown in to celebrate their big day and see their amazing transformation. Later, back to reality and the ranch, the contestants weigh in and one more is eliminated, leaving the final four players of the season.
